Changes...

After getting back from the Howard County/Kokomo, Indiana, Vietnam Veteran Reunion this weekend, I sadly discovered our regular physician was retiring, immediately!  Still a young man in his 50s he has been experiencing some medical problems, including short term memory loss....details which need not be laid out here.

In the past month my blood pressure has continued in the normal to slightly above normal range...sadly my weight has increased 8 to10 pounds, but is still 20 or so pounds below what it was 2 years ago when I started on this Diabetes 2 Diet plan....the big news of late, other than Doc retiring, is that my bad Cholestrol rate is above what it needs to be.  I started on Zocor at the end of August, but am not convinced that I will remain on this Statin.   There appear to be a few side effects that I do not like, but will remain on the drug until the results of my blood work is done by the end of this month.

More on this later....

Hanging In There

No much new to add here....stop by the Daily Rant @

for daily updates....

Weight holding in the 188-191 range...still would like to drop another 10 pounds, but I've kept the 20+ pounds off for 20 months...and the BP is holding it's own, but by my own accounts, I have not checked as often as I should...last I looked it was in the 127/75 range with the pulse rate at 62-64 range...back feels good, 36 baseball games down, about 30 to go before Football, followed by Basketball wars kick in.  O' I did turn 62 in March, and the first direct deposit SS Check arrived last week  :)

Update as needed....later
