Early Spring Weather ?
Preparing for our Dual Sport Motorcycle ride to south Texas this coming weekend, we headed for the Auburn, Indiana, area where we needed to pick some equipment up from one of our riding buddies, "The Judge" who will be heading out a day or so before me and Nick....
On the way home we stopped outside the tiny village of Spencerville, Indiana, where I snapped a few shots of the well maintained Covered Bridge that crosses the St. Joe River:
The conditions were windy, real windy, but sunny and warm:

Icy Sunrise on Grand Lake St. Marys {Ohio}
It Was 3 above this morning when I headed out just before Sunrise to snap a few photos...a couple of flies in the fruitcake....
(1} Batteries died on the new Sony{really surprised because they were only 2 1/2 weeks old and I had not taken many shots....not a good sign}...but I had the old standby point and shoot Nikon
{2} A bank of cloud cover moved in from the south that got in the rising Sun, and limited my shot selection
Here is what I came up with:

Winter Boredom
Winter in the heartland of West Central Ohio is not much to look at, to say the least....unless we have a recent snowfall, the scenes, even around Grand Lake are not always that great....but I did manage over the past few weeks, with the new Sony H300 Cyber Shot to get out and about and grab a few clicks of the camera....here are some around the lake and rural Mercer County:
